It can be helpful with any injury claim which will involve medical care for the Claimant past the anticipated settlement date to have a good idea of what that care might cost.

A Medical Cost Projection (MCP) is a written report created by a medical professional certified and experienced in estimating future medical costs.

An MCP differs from a Medicare Set-Aside in that the MCP includes both Medicare-covered AND non-Medicare covered medical costs. These costs are estimated for the rest of the Claimant’s life after settlement, based on the life expectancy given by Rated Age.
